CSR Policy Extract

The Company has formed a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee for framing and implementing CSR activities with an objective to endeavor to reduce our impact on the environment through a commitment to continual improvement; and pay back to the society. The Corporate Social Responsibility Committee is responsible for the implementation of CSR policy and to make the necessary resources available to realise the same. The CSR Committee has framed a CSR policy comprising of Broad Guidelines of the Company to integrate the shareholders expectation to core activities and translate them into business opportunities possible.

Composition of CSR Committee

The CSR Committee of the Company comprises of following members:

All the aforesaid Committee Members, besides being Directors and fine entrepreneur in their own fields, are actively involved in various activities aimed towards upliftment and development of the society at large.


CSR Activity during FY 2014-15
In present era, cost of medical treatment has soared exceptionally high and proper medical treatment has become a luxury and out of reach of the poor. 
Hence, the Committee has decided to provide medical support to the financially weaker section of the society. However, the Committee desires to ensure 
that the medical support reaches the proper section of the society and so it is in the process of finalising the manner and structure of providing medical 
help. The CSR Committee has decided to spend the allocated amount for FY 2014-15 in the next FY 2015-16 along with the allocated CSR amount of the 
later.
 
The Company is committed to its belief to serve the society and ensures that it shall fulfill its CSR responsibility in next Financial Year.

CSR Activity during 2015-16
The Company has initiated CSR activity in area of preventive healthcare in rural areas namely

1. "Vatsala Matrusambhal" Program with co-operation of Charusat Hospital run by Charusat Healthcare and Research Foundation (CHRF). Under this program, various ante-natal tests shall be
     carried out and other facilities required for proper health of expectant women shall be provided with no costs charged to them. With this program, the Company ensures to provide Quality Health care      of ante-natal women in rural region.

2. "Sparsh-Nidaan" Program with co-operation of Karamsad Medical Hospital run by Charutar Arogya Mandal (CAM). This program aims to early detection and prevention of cancer in the rural regions      of Charutar belt. Under this program, camps shall be organised in rural areas on regular intervals wherein free health check-ups shall be carried out.
